Best gift ever.
Spott the Loonies’ zombie emergency preparedness kit. He surprised the crap out of me tonight by dropping by with one of these for my wall. Apart from life, nobody has ever given me a gift so awesome. It has a bowie knife, cricket bat, 9mm, frag grenade and paper or electronic documentation. In short, everything you need for zombie survival, apart from twinkies and a hummer.
Spott custom makes these. They start at $300 and up depending on the contents. (You customize your own kit.) If you seriously want one for your home, drop me a message and I'll put you in touch.

Amusez-vous avec les stéréotypes
In honor of Saint Jean Baptiste day, I present you with Napoléon et un Zombi de Paris.
A stereotype, I know— but I loved this down to the bloodstained baguette. I saw him again at Halloween on Church Street, sans sang of course but still in character...
Napoleon was a little taller in death, but no less magnifique.

Shaving accident
April. Warm summer days and men in bloodied bathrobes wandering the streets.
These things happen, you know. (I'm more interested in figuring out which hotel isn't getting a blood soaked bathrobe back.)

Spring thaw: spaghnum moss and shabby chic
Zombie Roland is a regular fixture at Toronto feeding frenzies, easily recognizable due to his exposed facial muscles and blue skin. (This tinge is likely due to cyanosis prior to death. He appears to have been frozen at intervals and exposed to extreme weather conditions over time- both hazards associated with Canadian zombiedom.) Here he is seen at an intermediate stage of decay.

Field Test
Lester Calleja of HeroicMelon reads Max Brooks’ Zombie Survival Guide in an alley while zombies stream past. Clearly it works: he survived miraculously unscathed, with only his autographed copy of the book for protection. More video of his random antics can be found here.
